All Things Beer: Facts & Beyond

Beer may be the world’s most widely consumed and probably oldest alcoholic beverage. It is one of the top-selling beverages in both on-trade and off-trade markets, with an industry dominated by only a few multinationals. In this blog post, we will discuss everything from facts to trivias to what it does for your health!

What is the difference between craft, microbrews, and imports?

Craft beers are made in small batches by independent breweries that produce less than six million barrels per year. Craft beer tends to be more full-flavored and usually has a higher alcohol percentage as well. Microbreweries tend to have a smaller distribution footprint, but the quality of their product is often high enough for huge markets like California, where their beer can be found.

Microbrews are beers with a flavor distinct from the “bigger” beers, but they are not necessarily brewed in smaller batches or by independent companies. Microbreweries have become very popular in recent years due to the variety of flavors and styles that traditional breweries cannot offer while remaining cost-effective enough not to lose market share. It is no wonder why many people prefer this new form of brewery above big name brands like Budweiser or Coors as they taste much more complex with unique flavor combinations such as pineapple purée infused into an IPA (India Pale Ale).

Imported beers tend to be of higher quality than domestic brands and vary widely depending on where they come from. Imported beers often have a higher alcohol percentage than domestic brands as well. Imports are not restricted to any specific style of beer and typically come from countries that allow for more lax labeling laws so they can pack in much more flavor without having to worry about what gets put on the bottle or where it is sold.

How to find a beer you will like:

  • Go to a tasting event, ask the bartender for samples of different beers. If you prefer wine or cocktails, try that instead.

  • Look at what beer is selling in your area and find out about new breweries before they open up shop nearby! Ask friends who go to events if any new breweries are coming soon.

  • If you are trying to find something new but don’t want anything too out there, go for a brewed with fruits or spices. These kinds of beers are great because they can be fun and exciting if done right. However, it’s always best not to judge a book by its cover.

  • If you’re looking for a beer that isn’t too out there, look for the kind of beers your grandfather or father would drink! A lot of older men and new hipsters alike are loving porters and stouts these days. They have been around forever, but they never go out of style. This is always great if you are looking for a beer that is tried and true.

  • Try something new! If you can’t decide what to get, try drinking beer when doing the things you love. You can incorporate beer into some fun activities you enjoy doing with some friends. For instance, occasionally chugging down a cold bottle of beer while playing Ping Pong with friends is a great way to spend your weekend. Drinking and playing your favorite game will help your game in improving while at home.

Health Benefits of Beer

I’m not saying you should drink beer every day, but it has some health benefits, so there’s no need to avoid drinking. People who drank a pint of beer per night have the same life expectancy as non-drinkers, and drinkers also live longer than those who do other drugs like cocaine, heroin, or alcohol. Beer is low in calories, which means people can enjoy their favorite beverage without worrying about getting fat from too much exposure to junk food. They don’t feel deprived with beers instead of sugary sodas because neither contain sugar at all.

Beer is more than just a tasty beverage; it can also be good for your health. While alcoholic drinks, in general, have been shown to increase the risk of many diseases, such as cancer and cardiovascular disease, moderate amounts of beer have been found to decrease this risk by up to 37%. The key lies within its ingredients: hops are rich sources of polyphenols – antioxidants that help fight off free radicals (unstable molecules) responsible for cell damage throughout our bodies. Polyphenol levels vary depending on which grains they come from but typically range between 100-250 mg per liter, with maltose providing exceptionally high antioxidant activity due mainly because only yeast breaks down these sugars during fermentation – leaving plenty behind after processing!

Beer facts you didn’t know | Beer Trivia

  • Beer trivia: favorite beers of celebrities, actors, and musicians. Who does what? What are their favorites? Did they invent a beer, or did they like it enough to mention it in interviews? Here’s some interesting trivia about the drinks that rock stars love. Some brewers have even named beers after their favorite musicians.

  • Beer trivia: Brewery Ommegang Brewing Company partnered with HBO to release a series of ales inspired by characters and themes from Game Of Thrones: Iron Throne Blonde Ale, Take The Black Stout (a coffee stout), Fire & Blood Red Ale (with a spicy red pepper addition). Then there’s the beer that made the news: Rolling Stone magazine reports that a Rogue Brewing Company in Oregon, USA, recently released Dead Guy Ale. The label features an image of metal singer and guitarist ‘Papa’ Hetfield.

  • Did you know that beer has been around for over 9,000 years? Let’s talk about some fun facts.Beer was first discovered by accident in Mesopotamia when people noticed the water had turned into a drinkable substance after leaving their grains out overnight.

This fact is interesting because it reveals how long ago this beverage existed and where the discovery occurred! It also tells us why it exists now – to get drunk, which can be inferred from the following sentence of information: “The ancient Sumerians are still believed to have brewed one of the world’s oldest beers.” In addition, we learn whether or not drinking alcohol is safe (in moderation) as well as what kinds exist (“Various drinks like mead were developed all over the world in history”).

  • Beer is mentioned at least twice in religious text. The Koran references a drink called “bur,” while, according to Exodus: 22:29 of the Bible, it is forbidden for priests to drink alcohol during their service. These facts tell us that religion and drinking have an exciting relationship – whether or not they are allowed to do so.
